Soooo eveerything was smooth sailing until i came across this problem.
i followed everything on the guide(the "FEXP ultimate guide") and somehow i can't still manage to make the battle animation(the ones that i uploaded) appear in game Sad

Battle animations are like... the worst part ever. Easier than GBA, but still stupidly clunky. It's been two years since I did -anything- in FEXP and I have no idea anymore.

Good thing I had came here.
If you want to know a bit more about FEXP then I am the one you're looking for.
So to start with the script has Syntax error Right? I see what's wrong... but am a bit too lazy to explain.
If you want to make interesting stuff in FEXP like I have:

Have a nice day and yeah my Skype: andris_ivanovs_saturos

There's no error showing up at all. it's just that the animation won't show up in the game.

if you mean adding a png file for the animation in to the battler folder then yes i did.

Sigh...
Ok so for the starters.
At first read the tutorial:
http://klokreations.forumotion.com/t177-animation-importing-setup-etc-tutorial
After then read this to understand a bit more.
Open script editor.

wow look at that it's actually in there. click on it.
Something interesting:

#=========================================================================
# ** Battler Image Setup
#------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# This determines the row of sprites to use for each weapon for each class,
# using CLASS_BATTLER_IMG[class_id][weapon_type]
#
# Weapon IDs: 0 = unarmed, 1..4 = melee, 5 = Throw Axe,
#     6 = magic, 7 = staff, 8 = unique
# Example:
#    72 => # General
#    {
#        0 => 0
#        2 => 1
#        3 => 2
#        5 => 3
#    },
# Class ID 72 (General) will use sprite row 0 when unarmed, 1 when using
# a lance, 2 when using an axe, and 3 when using a throwing axe. The
# "# General" part is not necessary, but makes it easier to keep track of
# which class ID is which class.
#=========================================================================
I guess that you should know Yeti wrote this not to entertain himself.
So now the animation.

As the example I'll use Summoner. As Battler is now set up. we start making animation.

wow look at that we got this far. Now as you can see on left corner there are odd numbers
As the class is Mage user you can use any template you want. Like Sage
The animation script wrote:
when 79 # Sage
     # Staff
     if weapon.is_staff?
       return 1621
     # Magic
     else
       if crit
         return [1606, 1602]
       else
         return [1601, 1602]
       end
     end

And go down and do the same with the rest of them all.if you're confused note down sages animation values and your custom animations values. After then write the animation script.
Ah yes and [12, 23] means that 2 animations will be played one after the other Well I hope this will help.

I never put a thing in the guide about battle animations, as I've never fully understood them and I hated doing them.
