If you've got icons to show off, post them here.


I got bored so I started making some myself:



The Guts icon at the top is just for reference.

The second one is Nihil and the third is Canto (I guess). Thoughts?

Nihil is awesome, I'd definately use that. Try removing the blue background though, it just looks kinda ugly ingame, IMO.

Try making one for the Hero and Sage skills that allow for use of all weapons or magic, respectively. Veteran and Academic. Try making a general purpose looking brown book for the academic, and do a polearm/poleaxe for the Veteran skill. Or, make a helmet for the Veteran skill. Color me impressed if you pull it off 8D

Been working on icons for The Road to Ruin. You've seen some of them before but a few got touched up.

Going column by column

Seethe, Mourning, I dunno, Crystal Sword

Iron Greatlance, Steel Greatlance, Silver Greatlance, Crystal Lance

Iron Poleaxe, Steel Poleaxe, Silver Poleaxe, Crystal Axe (Will likely be redone)

Iron Longbow, Steel Longbow, Silver Longbow, Crystal Bow

Gust

Crystal is a new type of weapon I'm introducing. They're all C rank generic weapons (As in no special abilities). Their gimmick is that they have marginally less might (Literally 1 less might) than steel but are lighter and more accurate than their steel counterparts. The catch is they're rather uncommon since they're made from crystal.

I like the pollaxes. I was actually going to make icons for that myself, but I never got time. Let me fish around for some Icons, maybe edit just a bit, and I'll post them. Still have to make the Skills into GBAFE colors.

They're FE9/10 skills icons made with FE item colors and YUHTITS's style.
In order: Adept, Aether, and Astra(in case you haven't played the games)

I've got a few more, but they need to be recolored.

Heh, I attempted to make Astra but that...didn't go over so well. They all look pretty good, I like eet.

I just copy and pasted the originals into the frame and recolored them. Not hard at all.

Ehhhhh if I was gonna use icons for skills, I'd eliminate the whole boxed-in look and the background colors. They just stick out and look ugly, IMO.

Whew, those are finally done. Spell icons for TRTR. The one by it's lonesome is an alternate version of Fimbulvetr but I kind of like the first one more.

He's right. The first level takes a long time to actually get to the boss, you dont get a healer till 3 chapters in, and thats only if you make it to the village in time.

You're perpetually 1-3 levels lower than the enemies, AND you have so few characters that you can barely move in the 10th chapter, because you get swamped by enemies. But you HAVE to move because then Lelia shows up and starts stealing stuff, and then...*Continues rant*

Prologue is being redone anyways.

The village where you recruit Serra doesn't get destroyed so you can take your time.

How are you lower level? I'm always like 2-3 levels higher than the enemy.

Character classes will be moved around a little next patch (Because of new, original characters) so hopefully everything will be a-okay then.

I also changed/tweaked a few designs. Notably the Wo Dao (Column 3, Row 3), the Killing Edge (Column 3, Row 4), and the Bulwark (Column 6, Row 1).

Working on lances now.

Axes, they chop stuff. Hammer will likely be redone but I'm totally out of ideas.

Your versions. Hand axe looks more like a tomahawk than the tomahawk does. I should know. There's one hanging on the wall in my living room.
