1 A fast question on Wed Apr 09, 2014 6:20 pm

Final question:

How can you make a game over? I have my actor 001 (ID) which is Koga, who makes a game over when he gets killed, but for my actor 004 (ID) which is Riku, he doesn't seem to do a game over. I changed the "Loss on death" in the System Config Script, but nothing changed, there's no game over yet when Riku gets killed. What am I missing?

This is what I got, so... If Riku gets killed, the game keeps playing but there's no game over. Is this supposed to be like this?

Take care, everyone.

Everything looks correct. Did you add a gameover event to your map?

I guess not. Do you mean the "Fire Emblem General" script in line 249 to 254?
   #for event in $game_map.events.values
   #  if event.actor.id == actor_id
   #    @loss_on_death.push(event.id)
   #    break
   #  end

If you do mean this, I discovered this recently, but I don't have a clue how this works.

EDIT: Finally made it to do a game over. For people who needs to know:

Search in the script the ""Game_Event(Unit)" and in the line 386, this is the event you have to copy:
$game_system.ally_loss_on_death = [actor.id]

In the "actor.id" put the ID of the actors that you want them to do game over. Remember to edit the system config in the "LOSS_ON_DEATH"

That's all. Have a good day.
