So I just watched this in theaters, and I think it's literally the best Superman film ever. Anyone else had a chance to see this?

I thought it had really pretty graphics, the dad scene was really touching but everything else was PRETTY FUCKING PREDICTABLE

It's a superman origin story, what more did you expect other than predictability? I liked the darker tone the movie had, along with the chair-gripping fight scenes, like the smallville fight with the other kryptonians, though I thought the rampant destruction of metropolis was kinda... bad. Like, here's superman, hero of justice, completely trashing the city along with the other kryptonian buddies.

I'd still rate the movie a 10/10 though, especially because of Lois, who wasn't this dumb bitch who isn't her characteristic terrible reporter "lol my bf is superman no way lol"

Yeah I loved it.

Spoilers because I'm not an asshole:
The only thing I didn't like is the destruction and the villains were a little too strong to be the first villains of the (hopefully) series, General Zod should have been the villain in the sequel or the final movie.

But I understand why they did it this way, almost everyone knows the origins of Supes, so dragging it to be the closing point of the series would've been silly. I still don't like how much of Metropolis was destroyed, how much time will pass until the next movie?

I wonder if in the next movie Lex and his company show up as the good guys helping rebuild Metropolis but in reality he has something else planned.

Also he killed General Zod, he promised Jonathan Kent that he wasn't going to kill. I think I'm one of the few people who listened and understood why he acted they way he did after snapping Zod's neck.

I also loved Jonathan's death in this movie, it had more meaning. They didn't go for the usual heart attack.

Did you notice the LexCorp truck and the Wayne industries logo in the satellite?
