@Yoshi
Mystic Knights is going to be either 24 chapters or maybe just 20
Shadow Sphere is going to be either 15 or 17 chapters.

@Magix430
What do you by you question the logic of the manga? Also Mystic Knights was a head of Shadow Sphere before it got tied so since the tie didn't break I'll post Mystic Knights first then Shadow Sphere, just keep in mind Shadow Sphere is rated Mature. Mystic Knights is a little mature but I rated it Older Teen because it's not as graphic as Shadow Sphere.

A bloody red gradient filter with the pencil tool is highly disturbing. Believe it!

I know it could be. By the way I am a lot more tired than I thought that I would be since I had my college classes today at 11:00AM to 8:00PM. So hopefully tomarrow I can get the first few pages of Mystic Knights posted tomarrow unless a tie breaker happens. So goodnight everyone. (:

The logic of the manga?
For starters I'm not gonna read something about Spaghetti Arm Cream Puff Heroes cuz 1) it doesn't make sense
2) i'd get depressed from the art
3) i'd kill myself
4) the manga artist would have one less viewer
5) i said give me time
6) logic is still an important factor because
7) a person with wide ass far apart eyes isn't logical anatomically at all
Cool if a person's shoulder goes up their arsepit no one's gonna tell if its a guy or a girl
9) im not saying your art is bad
10) im not even mentioning your art im just mentioning examples on illogical manga
11) why am i even bothering with this

It's okay don't worry about it. I know I am not the best artist in the world. I have trouble drawing certain scenes not people though. Any way I posted what they are about in the first post. Anyway I am off to bed for now good night.

Well I want to try to enter the talent search for Yen Press when they finally get information about it. If not I will just submit a project to them.

Added the first few pages of chapter one for Mystic Knights in first post. I appolygize if they look bad. I suck at drawing backgrounds. I usually have my friend do the background art for me but not for these. I decided not to add all of the character bios because it would take too long to get it going.

Cool thank you! I am not perfessional at it yet and I am still trying to get better with shading basicly. I am using Manga Studio Ex 4.0 because it's easy to set up panels. (:

Aggghh... What to say....

That wasn't a sigh of anything negative, inb4crapstorm...

I really don't KNOW what to say. If I bother saying one thing, it'll get me flushed down a toilet of crap, and it'll be a complete waste of my time as it'll be ignored and flagged as a lie and utter bs.

Or I could say something else, and things will end in heartbreak and people asking "WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO MEE???!-SOBBSOB-" and all that ridiculous drama.

Don't worry about it. I wasn't being negative. I don't know what you're so worried about. I know I'm not the best artist in the world.

Well, if you say so..

I think even trying to get either of them into Yen Press would be a waste of time and labor. Even IF the plots were genuinely great, the artwork itself is a huge turn off. As you've stated it yourself, you don't need me to tell you that you aren't the best of artists (which is what they're looking for, and the chances you'll be the most decent artist in the entire thing is pretty much.... not going to happen. America has this horribly tendency to say people can be whatever they want to be, as long as they do their best and try hard.. This is unfortunately complete bs. Not only must you go through extreme efforts, you have to be gifted with the talents required to obtain and maintain these dreams, as well as have the sheer dumb luck and connections. There is no way Yen Press will choose a horrible or decent or even a good artist over the best. They have standards. That's why most people never manage to get their stuff published.)

I think the thing you SHOULD do, rather then waste your time and effort, is to learn how to draw better. Take lessons online, watch livestreams of people drawing, watch tutorials on youtube. Only for SAI, of course, since that's the program you're using. That in itself is by far one of the greatest ways to learn. People in person tend to be more lenient and much less honest. Ask for advice from people who you know will be much more honest then a majority of people you've apparently talked to about it. The only way an artist gets better is to get an honest and unbiased critique and listen to them. If someone suggests a way to improve something, try it. They'll almost always be right.
I know I'm not the best artist, but I can help you improve, should you be willing. I've been thinking about offering free lessons on the weekends over livestream. I don't think Mew uses SAI, but she's an exceptional digital artist, and I definently recommend asking if she has any advice for you.

As for the plot of your projects, I think it may be a good idea to listen to Klok and Magix. They reeaally know what's up when it comes to that. I can offer a bit of advice for that as well, if needed. Originality is extremely hard to come by these days, but it IS obtainable. Magix and Klok are both more or less experts when it comes to literature, and they also aren't normally biased.

For now, that's all I can say. If it's upsetting, I apologize, but I prefer speaking honestly when it comes to creative works like art and stuff. I hope you find at least something here useful. xD

Nope. Talent isn't required. Take a look at some of my oldest sprites. No talent at all. Some of my earliest writing-little to no talent.

A better statement might be that you have to have dumb luck and connections to get famous to the top tier of your art. It's unfair to generalize, any way you slice it. Maybe some people get lucky and other people have connections, but others have made careers for themselves just through practice and bull-headed stubbornness. Some others have had talent which they've developed. I can personally state that talent has nothing to do with success. Perhaps someone's 'best' isn't perfect, but as long as they keep pushing themselves to be better than their best, always, then improvement WILL come.

Lol, no. Klok might be very good at plot design and reviewing, and he knows what he wants, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him an expert. At least, not in the eyes of the actual expert world.

Magix is not an expert on literature. He's a high school student who has worked hard to improve his writing. I wouldn't call him an expert.

Rather than consult people based on technical knowledge, which you'd do for a debate or sumshit, asking as many people as possible (on and off the internet) for an opinion is probably a good way to get help with that.

So I'm arguin' now hoorah.

Except that asking the layman for input will only get you so far. Like Rin said, asking people in person for an opinion often nets you a watered-down version of the input an artist really needs. And if the person you're asking doesn't have a clue about the subject at hand then you won't get very good feedback either.
People who have experience in what you're working on will have much better and more informative things to say about your work than asking just anyone.
