Took me a long time, but I finally figured out a particularly retarded glitch that has caused me no end of misery. Basically, for some odd reason, sometimes when it was the enemy phase, the enemy BGM would play, and after a battle initiated and ended, the BGM would restart. This was seriously bugging me as I have custom music for the phase that I carefully adjust to last the amount of time I need it to.

Anyway, I noticed that sometimes, inexplicably, it didn't reset. After a whole week I've finally figured out that it has something to do with generic units and actor units. If it's actor VS actor, no BGM reset. If it's generic VS actor or vice versa, no BGM reset. However, if it's generic VS generic, the BGM will reset.

Hey Klok check out Fire Emblem General, around line 1850. I just stumbled on that, and it may be helpful, but I don't want to test while I'm doing something else.

Interesting. I did a lot of searching (I think I mentioned in another post that the goddamn BGM glitch is still there for me) in the scripts after seeing that and... still nothing conclusive. The only thing that has changed between Dec 25th 2010 FEXP and FEXP 1.0.1 is...

Other than positioning, so far everything looks the same. I have to see if there's a call somewhere that isn't calling right or something though, idk.
