So I'm updating the FEXP editor right, then I get the brilliant fucking idea to redo Yeti's entire stupid system for map preview sprites. I've been at it for a solid hour and I have three goals:

1. Remove the double-class approach that Yeti used. It sucks. No more Priest/Cleric + Pegasus Knight on the same template, that's just fucking stupid.
2. Realign them all at the top. This way all preview sprites start at the top of the box.
3. Realign them so they're more visible in the editor. This is the really pain in the ass step, but completely worth it.

I have renamed all preview sprites to Prv_Classname. This makes it SO much easier to sort through them in the editor, you simply have no idea. All the map sprites in one spot, all the preview sprites in another, and the template at the VERY BOTTOM.

Just look at that! You can see the whole preview! A minor thing? Sure. But still an improvement, don'tcha agree?

You've got the male swordmaster 3 times and the female only once. :|

Oh, and why are you still using some of Yeti's map sprites? I thought you wanted to abandon all use of Yeti's sprites?

First step is importing all GBA FE classes. I really need some help with this as I have like 30 map sprites to fucking realign and set into the position so they work in FEXP. And for the classes, it'll only be map sprites. Animations aren't needed to make the classes functional, and we can add them later.

I'll add the entire ripped animations from GBA FE into the dropbox and if anyone wants to help me, your help is appreciated. It's a huge task.

I added the animations. Look in Shared Folders<Random Stuff<Overworld Sprites.

I'll handle all of the civilian classes and NPC classes, but I need someone to help with the other classes. And Prime graciously added two templates to make our lives ballsack easy too.


00:07 Prime So here's how it works
00:08 Prime The sprites feet go on the line in the standing template
00:08 Prime Well, I should say the last row of pixels
00:08 Prime And center
00:08 Prime For the moving template
00:08 Prime The bottom of the sprite goes on the bottom of the box
00:09 Prime Centered of course

Please people, I don't want this to take forever and I want to get back to working on FEPS so I can blow minds like I used to. Plzzzz

I'd also like to add that for the standing template, I've reformatted it so that there's 2 dashes in each frame. In between the dashes is the middle of the frame.
Finally, be sure to delete all the lines for the frames when you're completely done. Otherwise they'll show up in game.

I altered the Moving template to have a red line used for lining up purposes. Moving templates are fucking hard to use though lol
